The Arthur Hardy Mardi Gras Guide app wins Best of New Orleans!

Monday, June 28th, 2010

We are pleased to announce that the Mardi Gras Guide app won Best of New Orleans!  I’d like to thank Arthur for trusting us to get the job done.  Sales were great, and we plan to expand the application quite a bit next year.  We won’t give any secrets, cause our competitors are watching us closely.  We think you will be blown away by next year’s app.

Calliope Digital at the Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

We are having the most amazing experience at the WWDC. It’s quite obvious the future in developing for the iPhone/iPad will bring the best experiences on mobile platforms. Our applications have been well received by other developers. Sadly, the conference is now half over, but we have gained so much knowledge from Apple’s team of engineers. The iPhone 4 is clearly a remarkable mobile device, which again leads the way. FaceTime is brilliantly done. Retina display will provide the best imagery available. iPad will dominate. We’ve been hearing that many of the TechEd visitors in New Orleans are using iPads. How funny, but correct.

Historic Garden District Tour Released!

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Calliope Digital, LLC has launched the Historic Garden District Tour to New Orleans on the App Store. Special features include multiple photos of each location and an audio “tour guide” for those who would rather listen instead of read about the different locations. The Historic Garden District mobile tour application is great for first time New Orleans visitors or long-time New Orleans residents who want to show the city to family or friends from out of town, or just want to learn more about this famous and historic neighborhood without “looking like a tourist.”
 Tour your way today!
